I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, CPR and AED Certified, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Golf Exercise Specialist, Youth Exercise Specialist and a graduate of the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.  I began my official training career in 2011 as a Youth Athletic Performance Trainer/Home School and Early Childhood Physical Education Teacher for the YMCA in Oswego, IL.  I started coaching youth sports in 2009 and have been coaching soccer and baseball ever since.  In the fall of 2018 I became an Assistant boys soccer coach for the Gretna High School, responsible for the strength and conditioning of our soccer players.  In our first year in Class A (2019), The Gretna High School varsity boys team made it to the State Semifinals.  I have trained several Gretna Elite Academy Soccer Club (GEA) teams for Performance training, including state champions 2004 boys (2018 and 2019), 2005 boys (2018) and the top 2006 girls.   I hold my US Soccer Federation Class E license and have coached a 2008B team for GEA.  I currently volunteer coach a 13u boys baseball team for Elkhorn Athletic Association(EAA).  

In October 2015, I obtained my NASM Personal Trainer Certificate.  Also in 2015, I was featured as a top 100 participant in the Men's Health Magazine's Ultimate Guy Search!

Prior to becoming a personal trainer I was a New York State Certified Public Accountant and spent thirteen years in public and private accounting in roles of increasing complexity and scope.  As a family, we've lived in New York, Illinois and here in Omaha.  In Omaha, I worked as a Controller for a residential real estate firm. 

I started PLU Fitness to work with my clients on improving their total health and wellness.  I enjoy helping my clients achieve their goals and seeing the impact this improvement can have on them - mentally, physically and emotionally.  I truly love encouraging adults and kids to achieve goals they never thought they could, watching them increase their confidence and seeing the results of their hard work and dedication.
